It's finally summer!

Yay! No school for us young people... Which means more RP time right? Well, apparently not, since we have other lives now. But we can try!

if you're still out there, reply to this, and maybe we can keep this board semi-alive!

If you haven't noticed... as the administrator, I deleted all those lovely boards that had 0 posts and 0 threads in them, since they were just taking up room. Don't worry, if we happen to RP *on here* again, i will make a category for us to put the action in.
Also, I changed the look... sorry Menel, I was sort of experimenting, and I couldn't see the dark red on the black background anyway. Yours still exists, somewhere.
Also all the lovely conversations have been moved here in their own little board, instead of having to be under the "Rules and such" one.

As for me, my summer plans are:

Be home for this next week (end of June), hang out with my wonderful William, cruise town, save the world, whatever is going on...

Counsel grade schoolers at Kansas Bible Camp June 24 - June 30
Work on staff at same camp July 1- July 8

Be home for another 3 weeks, July 9 - August, and maybe (probably) help with a VBS that first week of July

Go work at KBC first week of August
camp at KBC the second week of august

Then a week of finishing the large book essay I procrastinated on, then school starts again (my school starts early and ends late... but we get breaks)



That's about it... when I'm not out around town or with william, there's not much else to do at home besides be on the computer and clean... and as much as I love cleaning... you guys are more fun. :-D

Hmm let's see...

I'm around from now (June 19) to July 4th weekend...I'm going up to NH for a drummers camp/clinic for the week. Then I'll be back from then until early August (date isn't set yet, approx Aug 3-8) because I'm travelling to Toronto. Then, another long stay back at home until I bring my brother down to college the 24th of August, and then I myself have to move back into school September 2nd.

I also have work 4 days a week, but that isn't too much.

Basically, I'm available for 70% of the summer.

Well I'm gonna be at the beach from July 2 - 16.. two weeks.

And I don't have a job yet, even though I've applied, but that might take up some time depending on the hours I have to work... but that's what the night is for rping.. also doing the odd thing here and there...

so I should have some time to rp!

In other news:

I am back! I had fun counseling grade schoolers... I had the best dorm of girls, they were so awesome, yay. I had a crazy friday night / saturday, which involved staying up till 2 am (or later) talking hyper... ly with 5 other girls, then on saturday going into town and to bogey's (101 shakes), walmart, the mall and a movie with my friends bethany and emily... we made t-shirts... and obsessed over Johnny Depp and the fact PotC 2 was coming out in a few days... and bought hair dye and were crazy. Anyway so yeah,

the past week, was on staff for family camp, which is not hard at all, there aren't even any crews, we just help with cleaning and dishes/serving for every meal, besides that we eat with the families and go to chapel with them and have free time... lots of it, this week of the summer is the easiest to staff. 4th of july, went into Hutchinson for their fireworks, which are awesome, and we were lost because we couldn't find the other camp people but then we finally did...happy..... and after fireworks we stopped on the way back, got a carton of ice cream, and back at camp sat outside on the trampoline w/ blankets and ate it and were hyper again... (the we i refer to is still the trio of me, bethany and emily...)
rest of the week was ok, we 3 made t-shirts with sharpies, and guess what all of them have on the front... it's a nametag, one that says "HELLO, my name is"... and then it says... Inigo Montoya!!!! haha, love ittttt. Emily left wednesday, spent thursday doing... whatever, friday i had to leave early (instead of saturday) because my sister was sick [not really she just said that] and i have a story...
so we got out of hutchinson about, maybe, 8:30 or so, and the sun set to the left of us as we were driving up to salina... always get to salina in an hour, and stop for a break. and i was worried, because the next part is 2 hours straight on I-70. I always get sleepy on the way back from camp and have someone else drive this part... and even THAT is always in daylight. So I was worried, but I stuck a CD in, and my sister even fell asleep, and I was perfectly awake the whole time. SO proud of myself for surviving, i was driving from like 9:30 to 11:30 in the middle of nowhere and didn't fall asleep.

well today, got up... i forgot to mention, my hair, has pink in it now. the ends of it (but a little to much of them so i don't like it) and a streak in the very front [my "bangs" you might say except they're the same length as the rest of my hair... think x-men rogue], Anyway, wanted my hair trimmed, because a) i haven't had it cut since april and I wanted it nice and even again, b) the color got up too far and i wanted less of it, c) trimming makes it grow faster and i need the color cut off by school startin time so i want longer hair before i cut it. So that was done eventually, also my William came to visit and we hadn't seen or talked to each other for 2 weeks. Also my grandparents came over. ummm... we watched part of the blue man group complex rock tour live dvd my dad borrowed, and i was reminded that i pretty much love them and want to vacation to Chicago AGAIN... good times man. also borrowed the firefly series from my friend and watched the first episode (Serenity parts 1 & 2), but it was late and my William got home at about 2 am and woke up at 7 [just to get his work done so he could see me today...] and so, he fell asleep probably halfway through it, and then I had to wake him up just to tell him it was time to go home, and I hope he got home alright cause the poor boy is tired. Then i got on here to report this all to you.

there seems to be 2 posts since I left, by Linde dear and Eldy, are the rest of you busy with a revolutionary RP? I hope you've had a wonderful time, as for me, I grew an inch taller and my legs are still hurtin with growing pains, so I seem to have more Rohirrim in me than I thought... no traces of Halfling in my blood with this height... woohoo! haha... as of yesterday I am 5'5, i believe... still growing after 17 years already through.

Hey guys. I hope everyone's summer is going great.

I've gotten to talk to a few of you over the summer. I'm out until the fall, when collge starts. I start September 18th. I have two classes a day, four days a week.

I haven't checked back here in some time, as you can tell. The boards are different, in a good way. I like what's been done to them. I recently (as in today) got my computer back. It's been broken for months and then was in the shop for weeks. I was glad to see they didn't reboot the whole system again, which means all my crap was saved, including the old logs from our #War days.

With the time that I have, but not at this very moment, I will try to post the logs for all to read what awesomeness we had, and still have. There have been more recent rps that will be added in as well.

It's good to see that people check back in here every now and then, but it's be nice to see the familiar faces a bit more often. I hope all is well for everyone and I hope we can get together sometime soon.
