(Ok, just trying to get things up and going again)
A shadow passed over the feilds of the Pelennor, making its way towards the white city. None from the highest towers or the citadel would be able to see her, especially under the cover of the night. Someone lurked within the city, a target for Menel. She needed some game. She'd been traveling for some time now, avioding most people as possible. Occasionaly, she would stop by taverns or bars to listen to the happenings of Middle Earth. This is when she learned of the person who waited inside the great walls.
There was no hurry, so she let Sereg lead at his own pace: a slow, steady walk. She didn't think the guards would let her enter the city at this time of night, so she would have to make camp on the feilds, without a light of a fire. She continued on, eyeing to city in the distance.

Tolwyn sat in a local tavern, bored to death. It'd been at least 2 years now since she ran away, and the adventures seemed to be in short supply. She hoped that maybe she would find soem group, treasure-hunters, legend-seekers, ANYTHING to get her mind off home.
She had been there about a week, sitting around. She was kind of low on money, and if nothing happened in the next night, she knew she would have to go back to the forest and camp out. She thought about goign back to Edoras to get some more money from Elfwine...
No, she could handle it. She had been working mornings in the tavern stables for the keeper, and had been getting paid a little. Since she had been worknig and donig nothing, she was out of practice when it came to riding and fighting. But she wasn't so far gone; if anything happened, she would still defend herself.
Tolwyn sighed and adjusted her helm, leaning back in her chair by the fire. The depressing thoughts that came to her were of home, and her father, and her brother; how they felt, what she had done, how the country was. She shook her head and began to think of other things- past adventures, maybe practicing soon, ordering a meal.
In summary- the poor stable-boy from Edoras was very, very bored.

Menel got up off the cold ground, a bit stiff, after laying in the same position all night. It was just before daybreak and she could tell the day would be gloomy rather than sunny and nice.
She whistled out to Sereg, who had been let free to graze on the grass throughout the night. He was at her side in a matter of minutes. She saddled him in a hurry, though not meaning to. She slung her bag over the saddle horn and mounted Sereg. Giving him a light kick, she took off towards the city.
The first rays of light were peaking their way over the mountains, only to be covered with the gray rain clouds. She reached the gates shortly after that. After giving the guards a fake name and a false reason for entering, she rode into the city, looking for the nearest tavern. She first led Sereg into some nearby stables and got him a free stall. There was a tavern right across the way. "Better start somewhere." she whispered to herself. She took down her hood and walked into the tavern.
Few looked up at her when she entered, but no one really paid that much attention. But, that was what she wanted. She wasn't one for attention. She ordered a drink and took a seat in the back, watching everyone there for a short time.

Tolwyn stumbled downstairs after a long night. She had gone to sleep late, but because of her warring thoughts she hadn't been able to relax, and when she did drift off she had a very long, annoying nightmare. Finally she had gotten up and bathed and dressed, disguise and all.
Tolwyn sat down at the bar and ordered a scant breakfast, and gave back the key to her room. She knew she still had to work one more time in the stable, so she ate quickly and wandered outside. Her pack on her back and the sun reflecting off her helm, she went to work raking hay and grooming horses, shoveling stalls and stacking bales. This took awhile, but she didn't mind. Nothing else to do...

A sinister smile crossed Menel's face when her target showed herself. She took another drink of her ale and walked up to the bar. While handing in her empty mug, she spoke lightly to the bartender, asking who the person was, where he was going and such. She paid for her drink and headed out of the tavern after getting what information she could.
There was a pile of straw outside the stables Sereg was in. She glanced down the way and started over. Ruin knocked up against her left leg with each stride, her cloak flowing freely behind her. She opened the cracked door with her foot and stood in the doorway, watching the person shovel hay. Sereg was in the stall next to it. He nickered when he saw Menel in the doorway, but she said nothing.

Tolwyn finished up the last of the work, feeding the horses, and pulled her helm up the tiniest bit to wipe the sweat off her brow. She adjusted her helm and walked to Baldor's stall, stroking his velvety nose. She began speaking softly to him in Rohirric. *translated* "Where now the horse and the rider, hm? What do we do now? Life is peaceful and boring. Let's ride out and find conflict." She chuckled a bit and leaned against the stall door while the normal-looknig Meara finished his breakfast.

(Let's see, I think I shall use Eleryn ;D)
Eleryn patted her stallion's neck and dismounted. She took a deep breath and looked around her. Pelennor... she thought to herself. It has been awhile.
The elf began to walk towards the nearest tavern. It wasn't unusual for the Captain of the Mirkwood guard to take a vacation every once in a while and visit places in Middle Earth. Half of the time she found herself going towards Minas Tirith, which was where she was headed now.
The tavern she had spotted was still quite a distance away, but Randir was showing he was tiring, so she would walk the rest of the way. Eleryn didn't mind. It was nice to see the sun come up and hear the silence, broken only by her horse's quiet hooves hitting the grassy turf.
It was a nice cool morning. Not cold, but cool and crisp. The grass was beginning to sparkle with the dew that was appearing, but her well worn boots kept her feet dry.

Menel laughed lightly to herself, but loud enough for Tolwyn to hear. She muttered something in the black speech as she walked into the stables, kicking the door closed behind her. She cast her cloak off to the side, showing Ruins' hilt. She rested her hand on it as she walked and stood across the way from Tolwyn. She leaned back against the stall as she looked on Tolwyn. "My, it has been a while." She told her. Sereg poked his head out of the stall she was leaning against. "I think the last time I saw you, we were fighting on the feilds of Umbar."

The sun continued to rise, but the morning stayed cool. The world became grey in the pale light. Eleryn continued walking towards the tavern, singing quietly to herself and Randir. It was nice and peaceful, and reminded her of the tranquil gardens of Mirkwood.
Her thoughts strayed to the Garden of Water. It was her favorite. There was a pond filled with lazy water lillies, and from it trickled a stream that wrapped around the entire area. Statues of elves of the old stood silent watch over the waters, always staring towards the sea. There were several bridges as well, and she remembered the one that she had stood on with Legolas--
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden change of grass to dirt. She had finally reached the road to the tavern.
"Come on Randir, almost there. Then you can sleep for as long as you want, and have nice oats to eat." she said lazily. Eleryn was ready for a rest herself.
