* eleryn rolls him over gently and calls for some elves to help her move him to a bed
* Drulak 's eyes close and he drifts off
* Menel looks up into the eyes of Basanistes. She put her hands behind her back and held her palm face up. In her mind she began to repeat the phrase over and over until it was as strong as she was going to get it. She then transfered it into Basanistes mind. She took hold, she could feel it in her palm. She began to try to close her fist
* eleryn and the other elves carry him to a bed and lay him down
* Drulak blinks
* Basanistes winces has he hears the chant in his head. He looks down and sees a ring begin to form on his finger
<Basanistes> No, Menel, what are you-
* Menel feels her hand shaking behind her back as she tries to close it
* Drulak smiles and manages to say "eleryn.."
* Baranor can now see the small port of Dol Amroth, a
large stone dock lays embedded in the Belfalas gulf, with dozens of smaller buildings resting beside it
* Basanistes looks up at Menel and stops wincing, becoming very relaxed. He laughs, and then starts trying to force Menel's fingers the other direction, really far the other direction
<eleryn> what is wrong? are you hurt? just nod or shake your head
* Drulak nods slowly
* Dernwine watches the city grow closer... mouth agape
* Dernwine thinks or her mama who left her so long ago, the night she died...
<eleryn> where?
<Basanistes> Nice try, but I wouldn't raise you from the dead if you were stronger then me
* Drulak 's breathing is ragged
* Baranor can now spot many soldiers setting up their arrival
* Menel knows she's failed at this too. She lets go of Basanistes's mind and pulls her hand to her, closing it tight in a fist and rubbing her fingers
<Basanistes> Oh no, now you must be punished
<Drulak> ins..it..c..urse
* Basanistes concentrates on Menel's hand, trying to break her fingers
* eleryn sends one of the elves to find an elf healer
<Drulak> cu..r...sed...
* eleryn looks worried and tries to keep him awake "how?"
* Menel feels the bones in her hand breaking. She pushes her hand tight against her stomach. With her free hand she draws her dagger and flings it at Basanistes, trying to stop him even for a breif moment
<Drulak> they.. could not kill...me
<Drulak> they said...i...could..not....die
* Basanistes sees the dagger enter his armor. He stops breaking Menel's fingers and pulls it out
<Basanistes> Ouch
<eleryn> who couldn't?
* Basanistes throws the dagger at Menel's foot
<Drulak> ...so..i was cursed...with...the pain of death...
* Menel stands back up and shakes her hand, not seeing the dagger. It entered her foot. She gritted her teeth in pain but kept herself from yelling out or saying anything
* Basanistes walks over to Menel and places his hand around her throat
<Basanistes> Who is your master?
* Baranor pulls into the port
<Drulak> the...necromancer...
<eleryn> *elf returns with a healer and he immediately starts to work
* Baranor stretches his arms and walks off the boat, onto the ramp and on the port dock
* Dernwine stands back with the rest of the commoners, waiting to get off the ship
* Drulak 's eyes close and he drifts off
