"Hello? Menel...?" Eoden asked again. "Why so hostile about Sphinx? Just a person you know." Eoden still did not look at Menel, he focused his attention to the two in the cave, and around him and Menel to make sure no one was watching or listening like he had been doing on Nevias and Eleryn.
"If you do not answer it will only give me more reason to distrust you."

Eoden glanced at the ground, and did not say anything, as if to signal Alright, no harm done. But I'm watching you. "Why so hasty on the subject of Sphinx?" He asked, "I thought you two were best of friends."
Eoden looked back at the cave where the two were talking once again. He listened more to them as to what Menel was answering.

"And why should I believe you, Menel?" Eoden looked back into the cave. "You are and always have been my enemy. Why should I now believe that you are my ally?"
Eoden turned back to Menel and stared her hard in the eyes. "I am not one for liars, especially lying enemies." Eoden tried to think of something else to say before she answere his previous question. "Where is your buddy, Sphinx? Oh yes, I saw you with him, you do not decieve me. Was he just another victim of your spell?"

Eoden relaxed his grip on the sword but still held it firmly. "Well if it isn't Menel..." Eoden's voice got quieter. Last I saw of you was half decapitated on the battlefield. I always knew these elves were tricky with powers, bringing people back to life and such. No harm eh? Prove it. What business does Menel of Mirkwood have here, not..'Andune'''. Eoden laughed again.

Eoden casually looked over to the woman's face. His mouth dropped and a small gasp came from it. He looked slightly worried as he fiercly grabbed his sword handle, not yet pulling it out. He clenched his teeth as he looked deeper at the foe. "Explain now, or you'll be dead once more."

Eoden grinned as he listened to Andune speak. "Oh, you must go to Valinor...Hell, give me your spot if you don't!" Eoden laughed at his own joke. "Listen, you've seen my face, and I feel a bit, odd, looking into your hood. Will you not show me your face if we are to speak with one another?"

Eoden listened to the elf as she noticed the ones in the cave had ceased their conversation. They were just standing there, so there was not much to spy on.
"Why are you here in Rohan?" he asked "Elves of your sort rarely come to these parts." Eoden followed his question with another. "I knew some elves from fighting in the war, besides Eleryn. Legolas and Kementari. Know any of them?"

Eoden continued to stare into the cave. By the sound of Andune's tone, she was either very emotional, or a fantastic actor. Eoden was tempted to rip off her hood and peer into her eyes. But there was a chance she was just a normal kindly elf, and he did not want to be rude.
"Well then, interesting story. You know the elves always fascinated me. They come out as such nice and gentile creatures, but inside their own homes they fight with their own kind."

Eoden looked at her hand and waited. He soon smiled back and shook her hand. "Eoden, Dunedain Ranger"
Eoden took a spot next to the elf and dropped to his knees. He peered into the cave and watched the two elves closely. There was still something odd about Andune, but maybe it was just a first impression.
He kept glancing back and forth from the cave to the woman. "And how do you know Eleryn?"

Eoden turned now and looked right at the elf. "I've been doing my fair share of spying. Now that the war's over and that Menel character is out of the picture, I have a lot of free time on my hands."
Eoden looked closer at the elf, still unsure of her identity. "Whatever the case may be, I don't like this situation. Eleryn is a friend of mine and if she's in trouble it's my duty to find out why."

Eoden halted and turned his back to the figure. Whoever it may be, she wasn't causing trouble, so he decided to take a risk. "It's Lady Eleryn of Mirkwood, and Nevias. Not too sure about the fellow, but he looks a little troubling if you ask me. But, why do you ask this, elf?" He could decide from her figure that the shape was an elf, definitely female.
"Would you have followed them if you did not know who they were to begin with?"

Eoden looked deeper into the cave and saw the two conversing. A small fire sparked in the middle of the cave, enlighting its surrounding. He soon heard a loud crack, as he swiftly jumped to his feet, startled.
Eoden immediately turned behind him to the forest by the cave. He saw a dark figure on its knees behind a patch of trees. He hesitated, and quietly crawled to the spot of the figure.
Without even looking into the creatures eyes, Eoden said rather loudly "Any louder and the two in there would have heard as well."
Eoden took off his hood and stared deeply intoits eyes. His stomach churned at the thought of who that might be...and he began to slowly back away.

Eoden crept across the forest at a very fast rate. He reached the outer edge and saw the cave in the distance. So this is where he took her. Eoden's crawl turned to a fast sprint as he loaded an arrow and hid behind a vast group of rocks outside the cave.
Eoden had no proof that this Nevias was evil, but by the tone of his voice when talking to the other elf, Eoden figured that this man may be trouble. Plus, he knew Lady Eleryn from the Necromancer War and thought he should make sure nothing wrong was happening.
He listened from behind the rocks and glared at the elf.

Arawan stood in the forests of Druadan. He needed to see Menel again, for council. Arawan was beginning to become restless, and needed some task to enforce.
Quickly now he wrote a letter with red ink. He tied it to a crow and read it over one more time. The letter read:
Menel,
Do not think you have forgotten about me. I know you still linger and I know you have not put me aside in your thoughts! I grow weary as the days longen. This curse has brought evil to my mind, never leaving it. Come to the Druadan Forest in 4 days. Meet me at the entrance, and come alone. I need counciling.
Arawan
He tied it to the birds neck and let it go. "She better come" he muttered.
(This kinda belongs in Druadan section, but I'm sending a letter to her in Rohan...it would be awkward to carry this RP into the other section.)

Eoden rode swiftly across the foothills. A vast greenland of mountains and plains began to appear in the horizon. "Rohan" he muttered. Eoden stopped his horse calmly and gazed out into the sunset. The sun was slowly setting, and the West would soon fall to darkness, until dawn.
With a loud "Yah!" Eoden kicked his horse and rode down the hill, into the plains. He looked about him, great white mountains circled him on all sides, with small old villages scattered across the fields. He narrowed his eyes to get a better view of the villagers. They looked tired, upset and disgruntled. "I see nothing has changed" he said to himself.
He trotted along slower now, noticing everything near him. He spotted a cluster of elves talking nearby. He decided to take a closer look without interupting. He parked his horse by a tree and hopped off, finding the nearest brush. He huddled behind a plant and watched them talk. Stealth was on of his gifts.
