Ok I shall do it myself then? It won't be the boring Helms Deep battle you've done many times. This is from a different perspective. I may add in a little things that didn't happen in the book to make it better. My character is Eorling, Eoden's father.
Eorling dressed in chainmal from atop the keep. He fought for one cause, keep his wife alive so the baby would be born. If his wife died, he failed. He finished up at the armory and took his position. He and two other rangers were asigned the East mountains, right next to the causeway. He would try to snipe down the uruks taking the causeway.
He got to his position and waited. He heard the drums from the uruks but they still wouldn't arrive for a while longer. He stocked his supply of arrows and tightened his bow. The massive army was now in sight and could be seen marching across the fields.
The other two men took shots at the army to test range. The army, being a few hundred yards away, were not in range. But that was them. Eorling took out an arrow and flung it across the field, landing precisely under the helmet of an uruk captain standing atop a rock.
Eorling smiled and grabbed for another arrow. Waiting. The army crept closer and now stopped before the deeping wall. Archers were lined across the whole wall, scared. In the hornburg and before the Keep stood infantry, also scared. The whole army was oblivious of what was to come.
Quickly now the Isengard army charged. A frenzy of arrows flew through the sky plummeting into the ranks. Eorling fired an array of arrows at the back ranks, hoping to go unseen. Large uruks now charged the causeway, holding catapults and battering rams. A thick layer of shileds lay on top of them to protect arrows.
Eorling remember an elf say "Aim for under the neck and at the arm". Eorling did just this, felling many orcs passing by. They saw him this time, he was in trouble. He looked to the two other men by his side. "They've seen us!" He cried. "Quick, back inside!" He looked down and saw two arrows piercing each man in the chest. Eorling's stomach battered against his sides and he widened his mouth.
He anxiously ran back through the paths and into the hornburg. Had he lost them?

I think it would be cool to reenact the Battle of Helms Deep. We would do the movie version of course, to include the elves. So if there's enough interest in this...uhh...we'll do it!

Eoden rode down the paths of his village. He was aching all over his tired body. It had been three months to the day, when Basanistes was defeated, and all hope for Men was granted. Eoden had finally wed the love of his life, and now he was returning home, life was back normal.
Or was it? What is going to change? He thought. He had not grown in rank really, he still remained a Captain of Arnor, Second to Draco in his kin of men. Why not? He had displayed such courageousness and loyalty than most others across the battlefield. Why was he not honored, when others were?
Eoden stopped his horse and sat there dumbfounded. Was this war fought for the wrong cause? He thought again. Was I fighting to ensure Draco and the people's safety, or my own? He wasn't sure.
Eoden had always had a secret envy for Draco. Of course he would never tell him this, but he had bore it for a very long time. Draco did not bear the same skills in archery as Eoden, he thought, but he had such tenacity, power, and charisma, that Eoden would never have. He was just another smelly old ranger.
Eoden turned his horse quickly now and gazed out into the forests. He was going to the Shire.

Arawan grimaced an quickly shot back at Menel. "No! No! I am sure you were not planning to plan." Arawan smirked at his word choice. "But you came here and begun the planning, even without my consent." Arawan repeated the words Menel had recently said. "Yes, yes, we can do it."

Arawan smiled at the thought of annoying Menel. He knew Sphinx was a weak spot in her mind, but he decided to let if off...for now. Arawan glanced back at Menel. "You aren't going anywhere, at least not alone. You know what reason you have come here for, and if you do not wish to complete the planning, then so be it. Wherever you go, I shall follow."

Arawan glanced on the ground as he saw the small shards of the leaf tumble there. He titled his head up and peered at Menel swinging in the trees. He began to get infuriated. "Listen, are we going to plan this, or not?! What are you doing, elf? Looking for that buddy SPHINX of yours? He isn't coming, is he?" Arawan stared at Menel.

Arawan calmly looked up and narrowed his eyes on Menel. He arched a brow and asked, "What are you doing?" Arawan stood up and looked at Menel. He smiled, "Looking for someone?" He said sarcastically. "Anyways, back to our plan. It will not work..." Arawan stopped as he thought Menel was not paying attention.

A small grin crept across Arawan's face as he tried to hide it from Menel seeing. He quickly turned away from her, looking further deeper into the depths of Druadan. "Still," he spoke, "they do not need aid. Especially if you think it will only be me, you, and Nevias. Once we bring down their authority we will be decimated." Arawan paused and turned to look at Menel. "You are not invincible, you know...at least not yet. An arrow in the head will kill you."

Arawan scratches his chin and gazed out beyond the tree canopy. The forest was dark and shadowy, and Arawan felt a little nervous being in it with Menel. "Is this your plan, or is it the work if Nevias? It will surely not work, Mirkwood has allies in Rivendell. Mattheapar will be summoned as king and a new age will begin there. Thousands of elves will march to their aid, along with the help of Gondor and Rohan. You see Menel, we may have the mind to do it, but not strength of arms. By the time we corrput their leaders our heads will be burning at the steak."

Arawan nodded and sat back down on the wet ground. "I am sorry," he said, "I'm just very eager." He picked up a stick and began to break it in halves on his knee, until it was too small to break. He then grasped it tightly and through it over his shoulder. "What plan do you have exactly? 3 elves cannot overthrow the entire defences of Mirkwood."

Arawan took a few steps away and looked at Menel stroking Sereg. "Of course you will find out what he is planning. And so will I. I do not plan on working with someone I've never met before. Take me to Nevias, we can talk over a nice bit of lembas."
Arawan whistled for his horse as he came trotting through the forest and to his side. He began stroking his mane, just like Menel was. Arawan glanced back at Menel and took an assumption. "When do we ride out?"

A chilling grin crept across Arawan's face as he kept his eyes focused on Menel's. "Sounds like a plan," he whispered, "When do we begin?" Arawan stood up and walked over to Menel. He stopped a few feet away and stuck out his hand in a proud manor.

Arawan turned away from Menel and stared hard at the ground. He was living a terrible life. He had no one to talk to, no one to be guided by, nothing. Then again, deep down in his heart he was truly a happy and merry elf, like most all other elves. Then something hit him. "What do I have to go back to?" He said, "I have no family, no friends, no home. Do you think they will welcome me back after this!?"
Arawan turned back to Menel and looked a bit angry. "I join you."

Arawan stood stiff and peered into Menel's dark eyes. He growled and spit out, "I know what you think, Menel. When you blessed me-" Arawan rethinked his words, "Cursed me, with your powers, you also endowed upon me your sense of mind reading. USE ME!? Is that your plan for me in this world? I came here for help and guidance, and you plan to use me. It looks like Menel of mirkwood has not changed."

Arawan grimaced and looked up at Menel. "No," he snarled, " I do not need you to tell me anything. I want you to." Arawan stood up and looked her straight in the eye. "Do not think I have forgotten about this," he whispered, "My life is in ruins because of you, and you are going to help me continue it."
Arawan turned and walked a few paces away from Menel, his back facing her. "I''ve been going without guidance ever since the war," he said, "I need a task to enforce, a village to destroy, a guild to join..." Arawan's voice trailed off as he quickly turned back to Menel. "Let me join you," he stated, "this Nevias creature I hear of, he knows nothing. Nothing! Do you not remember the team we made during the war? It can be reborn."
