This thread is a shortcut to finding any Hobbit you wish. If you are making a new Hobbit character, PLEASE post it in "Character Index" (http://tornrpg.proboards37.com/index.cgi?board=people&action=display&thread=1102544212) first. Then copy/paste the same post into a reply on here, or if you forget I will put your new Hobbit in here. Enjoy ;D

Re: Character Index «Dec 10th, 2004, 11:04pm»
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Rosa
Age: between 30-35
Sex: female
Race: Hobbit (half-human through her father but this is unknown)
Country: Bree/The Shire
Hair Color: Auburn, a dark reddish-brown
Eye Color: Green like a forest
Appearance: Short, but taller than most hobbits (except Merry and Pippin) with feet less hairy than most hobbits. Usually wears a dark green skirt with a dark brown leather vest over an ivory long-sleeve blouse. Peachy skin and rosy lips, altogether hobbit-like.
Personality: Usually cheerful and willing to strike up a conversation with anyone. Can be very quiet and shy when intimidated. Sometimes she will randomly climb trees and begin singing some old song; usually at sunset.
Skill: Able to use a sword if needed. Able to fist-fight. Otherwise, hobbit-stubbornness and courage and true innocence.
Strengths: not many; being alive, her brother and friends, and her tough spirit
Weakness: being a hobbit. and a girl.
History: Rosa has no memory of her early life; her first memory is waking up cold and alone in the streets of Bree when she was 7 years old. She spent the next few years pick-pocketing and stealing from travelers and such, living a dirty life on the street. Then, when she was 12 or so, a kind man named Barliman found her on his doorstep and offered to take her in. She spent the next 18 years growing up in the Prancing Pony, doing dishes and cleaning to earn her keep. Barliman became liek a father to her. When she was 30, he allowed her to be a barmaid and serve the customers of the PP. She had some bad experiences with the travelers there; bad men used their strength against her. One traveler, a kind old man, was nice to her, and gave her a sword and taught her some (very basic) skills. Soon after, She longed for adventure, and when a chance to leave came, she left with an interesting group of travelers: three Elves, another Hobbit named Bramblerose, and a strange man named Draco that she feels a weird connection to. After a long and deadly journey, she finds out Draco is her brother. She nearly dies, but is rushed to Lothlorien just in time. After months of recovery, she settles down to a peaceful life in the Shire, working at the Green Dragon in Bywater. Her brother visits her many years later, his left arm completely gone. But it turns out to be a merry reunion, and she is glad to know Draco is alive.

Re: Character Index «Jan 1st, 2005, 11:23am»
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you guys remember my hobbit character, Bobo? Erm, I think Aurora does and a few others, but I'm not sure I got to RP him with some of you. Oh well.
Name: Bobo ((Yes, couldn't think of anything better))
Race: Hobbit of the Shire
Sex: Male
Age: In his mid forties.
Weapons: A small knife handed down to him from his cousin Samwise.
Appearance: Rather stout like his cousing Sam, about the normal size for a growing hobbit, about 3'5''. He had long brown hair and light hazel eyes. He wore a brown hood with green garments underneath.
Skills: Nothing in combat really, just humour and good fortune
Strengths: Erm..nothing. Courage and loyalty.
Weaknesses: Not very strong, poor fighter, sometimes lets his good humour in the way of seriousness.
History: Born IN the Green Dragon, yes IN it. He was the cousin of Samwise Gamgee, and lived near him on Bagshot Row. He pretty muched owned the Green Dragon, going there with his friend Aurora often. He was famous in the shire for his kind jokes and playfulness.
At the time of the War of the Ring, Bobo was just a lad. At the time of the Necromancer War, he was a grown adult, but oblivious to the dangers that lay before them, like most hobbits.
