Menel, now feeling restless, stood up as Sereg came to her. She leaned down and took a brush from her bag and put it between her knees. She unsaddled Sereg and placed the saddle on top of the boulder and began to brush him down.
He stood quietly, as she began to hum very lightly to him. She made sure that she didn't take sudden strokes, otherwise her hood would fall to her shoulders.

Menel eyed Eleryn and stopped short on sharpening her knife. She rested her hands and said barely, "Andune." She bowed her head as if she went back to looking at her knife while she began to sharpen it, when really, she was watching the two, seeing if they believed her.
She smirked lightly and sheathed her knife. Meanwhile, Sereg had grown tired of grazing. He started back up the hill and returned to his master's side.

Menel took her pipe out of her mouth and emptied it by tapping it on her boot. As she did this, strands of her hair came out past her hood, but as soon as she leaned back again, it disappeared.
She was glad she wasn't asked her name, however, in case she was, she had been thinking of a fake one she could use....For a while.
She grabbed up her bag and placed the pipe back within it and set it at her side. She drew one of her long knives and began to shapen it, it being the only thing that was heard at the moment.

Menel somewhat freezes when Dernwine asked Eleryn her name. But, very slowly and eeire, she turned her head to look upon Eleryn again. Her hand resting on Ruin's hilt fell foreward slightly and was now gripping it. The flames that separated the two elves danced upon the pile of wood, with sparks and hot embers popping out every now and then. Her shoulders began to move up and down slightly like she was laughing, and indeed she was, silently to herself. She waited on Eleryn's response.

Although Dernwine begins to ramble on again, Menel actually takes interest. She had faced the spiders of Mirkwood, but that is not the main reason she is listening. She had the upper hand in this situation. Both of these people sitting here with evil, though not knowing it.
Menel's eyes seemed to glow more feirce than before as she watched the two. She thought about her mind spell for a breif moment, but quickly turned down that idea. "No, they would know immediantly." She thinks. "It would be best if I let them go on, talking amongst themselves, taking in the information.." She grins beneath her hood. Blending in was something she was an expert at. She could be so quiet and unnoticable, you wouldn't even think she was there. She took another puff of her pipe, the smoke rose out from beneath her hood and was carried away by the light breeze.

Menel took only a glance at the new person thinking, "Great..another one..." Her mistake was that she didn't take a deeper look at this person. She motioned for the person to sit down, hoping that the man would take an interest in talking to her and get her off the hook.
She took another puff of her pipe and glanced up. She did a double take to the new person and couldn't help but stare. Not only did she know this elf, it was the very captain she fought with that night in Mirkwood.... the night she was exiled. A slight evil grin came across her face, though the only thing could be seen was the glowing of her eyes.
Menel relaxed a bit. She leaned back, crossed her arms and her legs and looked at the two; thinking what trouble she could stir up that night. It wasn't all the time she came across her former captain. She raised her hand and stuck her pipe in her mouth, this time leaving it there. Her hand returned to resting on Ruin's hilt.

By now, Menel had her dagger drawn and was digging into the dirt. She was tired of listening to Derwine ramble on and on about mere apples. She sighed rather loudly for him to hear.
"Finally." She thought when Dernwine paused for a moment. Her head fell back onto the boulder once Dernwine began to talk again, but this time questioning her. She sheathed her dagger back into her boot, "%I don't know where I'm going yet.%" She thought maybe the Black Speech would throw him to where he would stop talking for a bit.
Meanwhile, Sereg had been grazing peacefully until Baldor started to prance around. Although Sereg wasn't of Meara, he could compare to one. No horse could come close to his magnificence. He went on to ignore the pracing horse and continued to graze.

Menel looked disgusted at Dernwine. "Mirkwood." She told her in her hard and cold voice. "And youself?" She rolled her eyes at the thought of a conversation. Her fingers began to run over the prints in the hilt of Ruin.
She leaned back a bit and crossed her arms over her chest. Her eyes only left the stranger for a moment and that was only to look down to Sereg. He would come when she called, but she still liked to know where he was. He had pinned his ears and nickered at the other horse. He wandered through the plains close by and found a patch of sweet grass to munch on.

Menel eyed the stranger from under her hood. She held out her hand and bowed her head, motioning for the traveler to go ahead and join her. Her hand returned to the hilt of Ruin as she continued to watch the person.
Sereg's eyes glowed red in the light of the fire. He turned and went to the plains beneath the hill to graze. Menel went on to smoke her pipe, not offering to strike up a conversartion with this person.

Menel heard the light patter of hoof beats in the distance. From experience, most would stop, having seen a fire. She rested her hand on Ruin's hilt, a habbit she had gotten into. Sereg stood behind her, pawing at the ground having heard the other horse.
Her dark hood sheilded her face, but the soft glow of the fire caught her green eyes. They shone out past the darkness. She leaned back a bit and waited to see if anyone would decide to join her at her camp.

Menel looked over the rolling hills from atop Sereg. He was breathing heavy and had sweat dripping from his chest. They had just come out of a sprint, of course, it was nothing he couldn't handle. He can go for miles without tiring.
The red glow of the setting sun had now completely gone behind the mountains. She would continue through the night, but decided to make camp. She dismounted Sereg and wrapped the reins around the saddle. He would either follow or stand there, depending on what she was doing.
Clouds rolled on by, opening the heavens. The stars shone more brightly than ever. Everything seemed to stand still that night. There was a light breeze, however. It swept across the grassy plains like an ocean wave.
Menel turned and gathered a few twigs and logs to get a small fire started. She put the wood in a pile beside a boulder that sat on what seemed like the tallest hill there and sat down against the boulder; looking out over the plains. Menel reached over and pulled a bag from around her shoulder. Within it contained healing herbs, cloth, wraps, a bundle of pipe weed and her pipe. She pulled out her pipe and some pipe weed. Within minutes a small fire filled the small area. The glow could probably be seen from a distance.
The only thing that could be heard that night was the soft popping noise coming from her fire.Lighting her pipe with a hot stick, she sat back against the boulder, smoking her pipe and enjoying the stillness and solitude.
She watched as the fire danced upon the wood. Sereg had followed Menel up the hill and stood beside her. The moonlight casted down on them, making them a terrible sight to anyone.

Menel laughed lightly to herself, but loud enough for Tolwyn to hear. She muttered something in the black speech as she walked into the stables, kicking the door closed behind her. She cast her cloak off to the side, showing Ruins' hilt. She rested her hand on it as she walked and stood across the way from Tolwyn. She leaned back against the stall as she looked on Tolwyn. "My, it has been a while." She told her. Sereg poked his head out of the stall she was leaning against. "I think the last time I saw you, we were fighting on the feilds of Umbar."

A sinister smile crossed Menel's face when her target showed herself. She took another drink of her ale and walked up to the bar. While handing in her empty mug, she spoke lightly to the bartender, asking who the person was, where he was going and such. She paid for her drink and headed out of the tavern after getting what information she could.
There was a pile of straw outside the stables Sereg was in. She glanced down the way and started over. Ruin knocked up against her left leg with each stride, her cloak flowing freely behind her. She opened the cracked door with her foot and stood in the doorway, watching the person shovel hay. Sereg was in the stall next to it. He nickered when he saw Menel in the doorway, but she said nothing.

Menel got up off the cold ground, a bit stiff, after laying in the same position all night. It was just before daybreak and she could tell the day would be gloomy rather than sunny and nice.
She whistled out to Sereg, who had been let free to graze on the grass throughout the night. He was at her side in a matter of minutes. She saddled him in a hurry, though not meaning to. She slung her bag over the saddle horn and mounted Sereg. Giving him a light kick, she took off towards the city.
The first rays of light were peaking their way over the mountains, only to be covered with the gray rain clouds. She reached the gates shortly after that. After giving the guards a fake name and a false reason for entering, she rode into the city, looking for the nearest tavern. She first led Sereg into some nearby stables and got him a free stall. There was a tavern right across the way. "Better start somewhere." she whispered to herself. She took down her hood and walked into the tavern.
Few looked up at her when she entered, but no one really paid that much attention. But, that was what she wanted. She wasn't one for attention. She ordered a drink and took a seat in the back, watching everyone there for a short time.

(Ok, just trying to get things up and going again)
A shadow passed over the feilds of the Pelennor, making its way towards the white city. None from the highest towers or the citadel would be able to see her, especially under the cover of the night. Someone lurked within the city, a target for Menel. She needed some game. She'd been traveling for some time now, avioding most people as possible. Occasionaly, she would stop by taverns or bars to listen to the happenings of Middle Earth. This is when she learned of the person who waited inside the great walls.
There was no hurry, so she let Sereg lead at his own pace: a slow, steady walk. She didn't think the guards would let her enter the city at this time of night, so she would have to make camp on the feilds, without a light of a fire. She continued on, eyeing to city in the distance.
